In the small, suburban town Northwood, college student Robert Rayzer is an aspiring mangaka running late for his orientation. Just as he leaves for school, shady organization Monochrome takes over his house, as well as his mother, with shadows. With help from a rainbow-striped creature, a keychain containing a strange device, and an anti-hero, Robert becomes Red, one of the chosen warriors known as Color Palettes.
